Hong Quan was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2013. He is an Associate Director at Ascentsia Law Corporation.
Hong Quan is an experienced litigator, having acted and argued as lead counsel at all levels of the judiciary. He acts for clients in a wide array of contested matters, most notably in the civil and family spheres.
His main areas of practice include:

• Commercial Disputes (eg. Breach of contract)
• Corporate Disputes (eg. Disputes between company and shareholders/directors)
• Estate and Property disputes (eg. Property disputes amongst family members or between buyer and seller/developer)
• Matrimonial Disputes (relating to divorce, annulment and division of assets including assets owned by third parties)
• Probate and letters of administration (including disputes relating to validity of wills and administration of estates)
• Disputes between individuals (eg. Personal Protection Orders, Defamation/harassment and neighbourly disputes)

Some recent matters in which Hong Quan has been involved include:

• Acting for the successful sub-contractor in DSL Integrated Solution Pte Ltd v Triumph Electrical System Engineering Pte Ltd [2022] SGHC 221;
• Acting for the successful appellant in VJP v VJQ [2021] SGCA 82;
•  Acting for the appellant in CLI v CLJ [2021] SGHC(A) 3

In his free time, Hong Quan plays badminton and is a devoted husband and father.
